Cute things the girls are doing

We wanted to write down all the cute things our girls have been doing while it is fresh in our minds so we can share all these stories with them when they are older and also for everyone reading this blog.
Makayla is now 3 1/2 months and laughed for the first time today after I sneezed. She has been smiling a lot and coos and blows lots and lots of spit bubbles. Almost every time we look at her she is blowing spit bubbles.
Jada is our monkey. She will climb anything and everything. When ever we go to the park, people are amazed not only at how well she climbs, but of her no fear of climbing as well.
Jada recognizes picture of and make imitations of the sounds of numerous different animals such as dog, cat, pig, chicken, cow, horse, wolf, sheep, monkey, bear, and duck. She also is learning her colors and to count although counts like 2, 3, 8,8, 6,3,2,8,9,10 not always in that order.
The other day she identified our whole family by the right names except her self. For a couple days her name has been two. She will point to Makayla and say Mei Mei (Chinese for little sister) to mom and dad, then herself and says very happily "I two".
Jada is also very curious about the microwave. We try to keep it unplugged now, the reason being twofold. The first is that she tried to cook herself. She pull up a chair and climbed into the microwave and was reaching out trying to press button to start it and close the door. Good thing she couldn't accomplish this. The second reason is she melted a plastic cup in the microwave, she had the time set for 35 minutes. We both were busy until we noticed the stench! Imagine if that was something metal like a fork.
Mike rides his bike to work and back and has to take his bike through the house to put it out on the balcony. Our entrance is to small to set it down there so he has to leave the door open and then go back and close it. One day mike and I got talking and forgot to close the door then next thing we noticed Jada was gone. We ran outside to look for her and found her in the alley behind our house happily running. Luckily nothing else happened. But we don't forget to close the door now.
