So Today is the day that Chelsey takes her French Test. When she passes, she will fulfill the last requirement to graduate! She is in the test right now, and we will post the results when she finds out early next week.
We drove down on Thursday. It was a good drive. The roads were clear, the weather was nice, and there were no problems crossing the boarder or anything.
We are staying with our friends Jeff and Tiffany Cook. I have known them for a long time, having taken Chinese classes with them a number of years ago. We are having a lot of fun. We enjoy spending time with friends. We also saw a number of old professors, and had a good chat with them.
Both of our Chinese teachers are encouraging and supporting us to go to China. Chelsey's parents have heard a lot of negative things about China, but it is encouraging to know that people who know China, who know what type of things are going on over there are supporting us to go, regardless if it be in May (most likely) or later on. The only thing that Bro Galer said is that Beijing has a lot more competition for jobs, but thinks that we should not have a problem finding one, especially with the positive feedback we have been receiving from places.
We are leaving Rexburg tomorrow, as we both have to be at work on Monday. We wish that we could spend a little more time down here and see more friends, but such is how things go. We just do the best we can, and have fun doing it.
